Well would you look at that, Megadimension Neptunia VIIR is out now and I haven’t even reviewed the original version of it. I have no idea how much is changed from one version to the other but there is one thing that certainly doesn’t need to change; the music. I’ve already talked about the other two boss themes from this game, “Voltage” and “Fate.” Both of those are amazing boss tracks but they are mere noise compared to the glory that is “Encounter of Destiny.”
And this week’s update has finally arrived. In terms of releases, we have had the Vita release of Ys Origin, and that’s pretty much it. Not much compared to the last few weeks but we do have some fairly interesting stuff set for next week.
Well, we have got quite a bit lined up for this week in regards to JRPGs and JRPG influenced games. Then again, there is always a sizable about of new stuff available. And to think some say that JRPGs are dead.
Anyway, within the last week, we have seen the release of Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception (PS4/Vita), Star Ocean: Till the End of Time (PS4), Acaratus (Steam), and Disgaea 5 Complete (Switch). So today is looking especially good for SRPG releases.
