Poem #98: For War

Note: This poem was originally posted on my Patreon account on October 22nd. I am currently posting a new poem to my patreon account each day for patron exclusive reading and on this blog one week later for public viewing. If you’d like to see these poems when they are first put up then please consider pledging to my patreon page.

A time of intense strife.

Harsh truths and harsher lies.

Between two worlds a force sharpens the knife.

An unstoppable force and a moveable object collide.

It’s said that if you want peace, prepare for war.

Shattered dreams and broken desires are the cause for denial.

When two foes meet the blades will strike to the heart of the core.

When all else fails, go for the killing blow and spill the blood of the vile.
