Note: This poem was originally posted on my Patreon account on August 25th of 2018. I am currently posting a new poem to my patreon account each day for patron exclusive reading and on this blog one week later for public viewing. If you’d like to see these poems when they are first put up then please consider pledging to my patreon page.
Always together yet forever alone.
No extent to which I could truly atone.
Never again shall we regain what was lost.
Our entire time together was all for naught.
Seething regret begets painful leather.
Crushing the throat of the dominant Goddess forever.
No will left to tether, to sever the bond of hearts.
The flames of remorse are eternal and the weight of regret hangs heavily.
To push only forward while never looking back despite absolute uncertainty.
True ignorance is of the soul and cannot be repaired.
I’m a broken human, and to fix me no one dares.
