Poem #75: The Light

Note: This poem was originally posted on my Patreon account on September 23rd of 2018. I am currently posting a new poem to my patreon account each day for patron exclusive reading and on this blog one week later for public viewing. If you’d like to see these poems when they are first put up then please consider pledging to my patreon page.

There is a light inside of me that grows dim yet strong.

It asks for you to see the depths of the mind that took too long.

Reaching to the future yet stuck in the past.

And unstable mind is rarely fit to last.

The fire of hope is small yet burns all the same.

The symbol burns eternal, but forever won’t remain.
