Poem #62: Nothing Yet Remains

Note: This poem was originally posted on my Patreon account on September 9th of 2018. I am currently posting a new poem to my patreon account each day for patron exclusive reading and on this blog one week later for public viewing. If you’d like to see these poems when they are first put up then please consider pledging to my patreon page.

Our love fades away.

Like night into day.

The two of us must part.

Nothing yet remains.

So why am I still plagued.

By the regret of yesterday.

The hands of time tick forward.

Nothing yet remains.

I’m so lost without you.

I can’t find my way.

Addicted to the soul.

Nothing yet remains.

Will I last on my own?

Why did I crave you so?

When will you let me go?

Nothing yet remains.

I must push on despite.

the burden in my heart.

I wish for resolution.

Nothing yet remains.
