Poem #81: Fairy Tale Within

Note: This poem was originally posted on my Patreon account on October 1st of 2018. I am currently posting a new poem to my patreon account each day for patron exclusive reading and on this blog one week later for public viewing. If you’d like to see these poems when they are first put up then please consider pledging to my patreon page.

Even if it kills me, I will protect you.

Even if Thor’s hammer crushes my skull.

When the winds blows I know what is true.

For the forces of fate to take their almighty toll.

Ration my wisdom, drowning in sin.

For the night on which this nightmare began.

Nothing yet remains to the fairly tale within.

The way forward begins with a line in the sand.
