Note: This poem was originally posted on my Patreon account on September 3rd of 2018. I am currently posting a new poem to my patreon account each day for patron exclusive reading and on this blog one week later for public viewing. What was I asked?

I said as I gasped.

Unaware of which lane in which the devil basks.

It takes time to react.

I said come back.

But this proved to be an unreasonable task.

My vicious attack

I can only look back

My heart is shattered glass as I put on the mask.

My victory is ahead

They left me for dead.

And for that they will all be abandoned instead.
