Note: This poem was originally posted on my Patreon account on September 3rd of 2018. I am currently posting a new poem to my patreon account each day for patron exclusive reading and on this blog one week later for public viewing. If you’d like to see these poems when they are first put up then please consider pledging to my patreon page.
What was I asked?
I said as I gasped.
Unaware of which lane in which the devil basks.
It takes time to react.
I said come back.
But this proved to be an unreasonable task.
My vicious attack
I can only look back
My heart is shattered glass as I put on the mask.
My victory is ahead
They left me for dead.
And for that they will all be abandoned instead.
