Poem #48: Our Courage

Note: This poem was originally posted on my Patreon account on August 26th of 2018. I am currently posting a new poem to my patreon account each day for patron exclusive reading and on this blog one week later for public viewing. If you’d like to see these poems when they are first put up then please consider pledging to my patreon page.

Though the distance between us may be vast, our true companionship will forever last.

To the end of the earth shall the fire in our hearts burn, till the rotting of the sun will our spirits come undone.

Though we may heavily ache at what the cruel mistress may take, our courage may bend but will never truly break.

The pain may be monumental as the injuries take their toll.

Though we may be crushed beneath the feet of tyrants boarding ships of flesh eating pirates.

We are effectively immortal and our beliefs rendered immoral.

Our lust will burn all who oppose us to dust.

Hear my voice speak to you as I guide you through the fog.

We have not failed until we stop.
