Poem #141: Guts of Worms (NSFL)

CW: Insects, gore, and deeply uncomfortable sexual themes. I was NOT in a good place when I wrote this.

Do not look down below, cross the bridge.
Don’t fall down into the dark abyss.
Don’t trip and plummet into the hell below.
Don’t grasp for life, don’t let it show.
Scream beg cry, reach inside.
Move the pulsating flesh aside.
Crawling, writhing, squirming blood.
Writhe in the guts of worms above.
Jaw collapse, crack stuffed with worms.
They crawl inside, the touch it burns.
Wretch, cough, and spit, reach for my slit.
Worms and bugs crawl out, all over me, and begin eating my flesh.
I drown in the throng of worms, my corpse decays.
Do not look down below, cross the bridge.
