Poem #138: My Little Girl

CW: Pedophilic and incestuous grooming imagery. This one is genuinely uncomfortable for me to read and to write, and is based on serious personal trauma.

Don’t look outside, there’s nothing but terror and fear.

Everyone is looking to hurt you, to abuse you, to drain you, to enslave you, to take you away,

You’re better off here, where I’ll groom you into my own precious little subservient child.

I’ll take care of every need you have. I’ll keep you safe, and all you need to do is get on your knees and spread your legs.

You’re not strong enough to take care of yourself, you’re a helpless little girl, and what would you do if any of those terrible people ever hurt you? You can’t trust anyone.

You’re welcome in your mother’s arms, and no matter how old you get, you’ll always be my baby girl.
