Poem #72: The Tower

Note: This poem was originally posted on my Patreon account on September 18th of 2018. I am currently posting a new poem to my patreon account each day for patron exclusive reading and on this blog one week later for public viewing. If you’d like to see these poems when they are first put up then please consider pledging to my patreon page.

Nothing’s alright, nothing is fine.

My life’s in Hell and it’s nothing but mine.

I’ve suffered enough I just wish for death

but it won’t ever take me not matter how much I beg.

This isn’t heroic, this isn’t inspiring.

This isn’t your fucking motivational story for firing!

I hate this all with a rabid flame.

I hate you all just the same.

Vicious blood boils, the tower falls.

Just let it fall while I’m trapped underneath it all.

Crushed by the pain of monotony.

Thrust towards an agonizing eternity.

I loathe this world let the flames burn.

I suffered enough now it’s your turn!
