Note: This poem was originally posted on my Patreon account on August 1st of 2018. I am currently posting a new poem to my patreon account each day for patron exclusive reading and on this blog one week later for public viewing. If you’d like to see these poems when they are first put up then please consider pledging to my patreon page.
My mind is weary, my eyes are teary.
I lost someone, near and dear to me.
Death is near me, I’m barely feeling.
Twice to fearing, six times to nearing.
Eight is forever, ten is better.
What isn’t in mind for suicide together.
Towards the pike, great minds think alike.
Perhaps that why we can’t reunite.
Ritualistic fear, your nightmare is here.
To you I’m afar, to me you’re always near.
You are far away, I am still right here.
Sever the chains of fate, I sink into the depths.
Darkness lies in wait, darkness yet again.
