Poem #64: Your Dreams

Note: This poem was originally posted on my Patreon account on September 11th of 2018. I am currently posting a new poem to my patreon account each day for patron exclusive reading and on this blog one week later for public viewing. If you’d like to see these poems when they are first put up then please consider pledging to my patreon page.

I nearly died that night, would have been a most excellent delight.

The heavenly light surrounds me. No pain in sight.

Then why am I here, and why do I speak?

If when given the choice, death would come to me?

I feel nothing but pain, nothing but sorrow.

Nothing but shame and everlasting turmoil.

Yet I’m still here, and always will be.

Even after the age where death forcibly takes me.

I will live on in each of you.

So I give you my strength, for your dreams to come through.
