Poem #2: Rage

Note: This was originally posted on my Patreon account on January 20th of 2018.

Why do I feel this way?
Every day, every night,
I feel pain and I feel delight.
I don’t know what to do.
Even though I trusted you,
is it so wrong to be in love with you?
When I’ve exposed my lust for you?
It’s my heart but must I die for you?

The painful scars tell me to hide from you.

The shameful stars turn to ash.

The pain still remains. I stay insane.

Explain why it’s all a game.

Why everything remains the same
but the name does change.

Confusion...

then rage…

then…

silence.
